Palmistry and Astrology

Palmistry is the art of foretelling the future through the study of the palm, also known as palm reading, orchirology. The practice is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations. Those who practice palmistry are generally called palmists, palm readers, hand readers, hand analysts, or chorologists. Palmistry is the study of lines and signs of hands based upon the ancient dynamic process that has been practiced for over 3000 years. At CLC, children are taught to study these lines and understand and interpret the information about human personality, psychological traits, view about life, emotional tendencies, social attitudes, conscious awareness, subconscious fears, blockages and strengths.

Objectives

  • It helps the children to understand the significance of the lines and signs on hands as indicators of predispositions.
  • It helps the children to estimate the likelihood of future behavior and occurrences. Armed with this information, they get the freedom both to confirm and nurture their strengths and potentials and to decide what changes they wish to make in their lives.
  • Much of the fun in studying palmistry comes from seeing how the kids can exercise their free will in more informed and effective ways.
  • It provides them the information that each time we take a new direction in our lives; we are able to see corresponding changes in the lines and signs on our hands. No two palm readings will, therefore, be identical.
  • It enables the children to point out precisely that how their past and present thoughts and actions have set them on a certain course. With guidance, effort and patience, they can improve in attitude and behavior. As their thinking changes and new behavior patterns become familiar, the lines and signs and even the mounts, (the underlying tissue of the hand) will undergo detectable changes.
  • The children come to know that their hands will reflect personality changes. Even lines indicating future trends can change. Broken lines can be mended; lines showing interferences and obstacles can fade and disappear; lines showing positive associations and relationships can appear and so on.
